About PNWF
Pittsburgh New Works Festival is dedicated to fostering the development of original one-act plays. PNWF is an annual event. Each September, 12 new one-act plays are produced by different theater companies during the four weeks of the festival.
Mission Statement
The Pittsburgh New Works Festival, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission of encouraging and supporting the writing and production of original one-act plays. For 20 plus years, PNWF has served as an umbrella organization, pooling the talents and rich resources of western Pennsylvania’s emerging theater community and playwrights from across North America in a series of collaborative activities. These partnerships add to PNWF’s mission by contributing to Pittsburgh’s cultural venue at an affordable price.
Cost: The cost is $10 for a single ticket per performance or $25 for a festival pass.
