Mission
The Pittsburgh New Works Festival, Inc. (PNWF) is a non-profit organization with a mission of encouraging and supporting the writing and production of original one-act plays. For nineteen years, PNWF has served as an umbrella organization, pooling the talents and rich resources of Western Pennsylvania’s emerging theater community and playwrights from across North America in a series of collaborative activities. These partnerships add to PNWF’s mission by contributing to Pittsburgh’s cultural venue at an affordable price.

The Pittsburgh New Works Festival operates entirely off of funding received through ticket sales, grants, and donations. Your continued support of PNWF, through attendance and financial commitments, is essential to the future success of our program.

Recognition
Since every donation to PNWF is vital to our success, all donors will receive a thank you letter and receipt, possible tax benefit, and will be mentioned in our online honor roll of donors. If you wish to remain anonymous, please note so in a letter accompanying your check.

Please join our Leadership Giving Society: PNWF Annual Leaders! Participation in this society indicates your belief in the importance of Pittsburgh New Works Festival’s mission. A donation of $100 or more entitles you to membership.

You will receive:

• Personal access to a board liaison,
• Special recognition in our online honor roll,
• Star Seating at performances when you make reservations,
• Recognition amongst the PNWF community at our annual Gala*,
• Possible tax benefit if you itemize,
• Our deepest appreciation, and

*Please note that Gala tickets cost $32 per person.

Of course, if you are capable of even greater support on an annual basis, we would appreciate your increased gift. We will determine appropriate means of honoring anyone who is willing to commit at an even greater level. The Pittsburgh New Works Festival, Inc. is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation exempt from federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations may be deducted as provided in the Internal Revenue Code
