Established in 1991, the Pittsburgh New Works Festival is the Pittsburgh Region’s original and longest-running new play festival, located at Carnegie Stage in the heart of Carnegie’s vibrant downtown.

Housed at the beautiful new Carnegie Stage, Pittsburgh New Works is just steps from amazing dining options and local shops, and just a short drive from world-class museums, lively shopping districts, plush accommodations—and all the sites of the new Pittsburgh. Getting to New Works is easy. Our convenient location is in close proximity to I-79, I-376, and Campbell’s Run Road, and is just a few steps from the Carnegie stop on the West Busway.  Free off-street parking is available in a municipal lot directly across the street from the theater.  On-street parking is also available and is free during performances.
